And we all believed Global Warming existed....? |
Travel Info What's with the weather in SA? Please connect the dots between the snow in Plettenburg Bay, the average temperature that's the coldest it's been for 56 years and Global Warming. I'm not seeing the connections, and it's not a freak occurance when you look at the last winter in the States either. Travel Tips The myth of global warming, created by environmentalist drones to achieve whatever political objective fits (usually anti-industrial and anti-American), is easily disprovable if one does even the most rudimentary research on the internet. Don't believe the hype. *additional* The answerer below illustrates perfectly the hysterical anti- American/Industrial nonsense that poses as scientific fact that makes up the myth of global warming. Others Where I'm sitting, sweating, in the Northern hemisphere, global warming is very alive and kicking. Someone probably stole it or killed it in SA. PS: To those (below) saying global warming is a myth, you are victims of industrialists' selective propaganda. Correct, there is natural ups and downs, but even taking that into consideration, scientific research shows that the change over the past 100 years is unnatural (even taking natural background noise into consideration). Politicians didn't invent global warming. Unnatural weather changes was established by scientific research. So, what you're saying is that thousands of scientists working idependently of each other from all nationalities in different parts of the world, are all telling the same lie for some obscure political reason. Objective reasoning would be more inclined to indicate the oil industry has reason to conspire, considering the trillions of dollars at stake if the world stop burning oil products. What would the incentive be for thousands of independent scientists (critical thinkers) with little, if any, financial gain, to conspire. (apart from the latter being impossible) THINK My masters thesis to start with... lol. you should watch the day after tomorrow, they make it all sound totally sensible. I am so cold sitting in Hermanus (120 km from Cape Town). The temperature inside our house is 14 degrees celcius, and it has been cold and grey for the last four days. I can't think about anything else....sorry, what was the question? My husband has pictures of snow in the Saudi desert ... global warming (as predicted in the Bible as part of the end times) is here to stay :) Batgirl Good question and the answer is this global warming like global cooling is cyclical and natural. Weather patterns come and go, it gets cold it gets hot and the less you worry about it the better off you will be. Now don't take that to mean I don't think it is important to recycle, reuse, and reduce. But Man's impact on the planetary weather system is miniscule. Take care of your land i.e. be more green, set the example for others and ask members of your community to help, and that peaceful non intrusive way of causing change will infect the city, state, country and world. thanks for asking and thanks for letting me speak.
