Illegals, just another nail in the SA coffin? |
Travel Info According to latest employment/unemployment statistics: labour force 17,1 million (for which only legals are considered) number employed 12,8 million unemployment = 25,5 % http://www.southafrica.info/doing_busine... Now, add another 10 to 20 million illegals into the workforce, (let麓s err on the conservative side and say 10 million) i.e. current workforce 17,1 million + 10 million = 27,1 million workforce unemployment percentage = (workforce - employed)/worforce = (27,1 - 12,8 ) / 27,1 = 14,3 / 27,1 = 53% unemployment plus if we consider that the last (unreliable) consensus was done 7 years ago, the government麓s figure for the workforce (17,1million) is most likely way understated. I have nothing against immigrants but what麓s the point of taking cargo from a sinking ship and adding it to a ship that has a cracked hull? Travel Tips It is the plan of the ANC government to weaken the trade unions power base in SA by letting in so many illegal workers. These people will not get support from the trade unions because they cannot legally belong to them. Therefore they are less likely to strike and employers will take advantage off this situation and employ more and more of them. The remaining SA workforce will get more disillusioned with the trade unions because their bargaining power will get less and less. The government will come up smelling like roses because the economy will seem to trod on with fewer industrial upheavals by the trade unions. A very similar policy the Nationalist government used in the old days by employing people from Malawi,Zambia and Mozambique to work in the gold mines where they did not wanted strikes. Others Is this a rhetorical question ? You should see the town were I live.... it's totally taken over by Chinese and Pakistani shops .A total f@% up ! yet another reason that the anc is ineffective. i have no problems with refugees wanting a better life, but when it starts to affect the nations economy negatively, especially when citizens cannot get employment, it worries me. it's a catch22 situation. do we allow refugees, and lose jobs for our people, or do we not allow them, have jobs for our people and watch as millions starve? it's difficult. the general ponders. Well now you know why the crime is so high - they are all starving !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Foreigh Affairs & Home Affiars confirms that they have a legislation which stipulates the requirement to enter SA and under spesifc categories that needs to categorise them under "special skill" to apply or enter. HELLO they are only entering SA - so many of them are here illegal. Getting our jobs, our money and trashing our land... that coffin is long burried!!! he he he. you put it very nicely, the analogy that is. True, but what can we do, they really think we are the land of milk and honey. Even Zimbabweans in the US and the UK. They are there to prepare themselves so that they can go to SA and get 'great' paying jobs. And they lie to themselves I tell you, saying they'll earn 拢30 000.00 a month! Yeah right. Maybe when Mugabe freezes over. |
