It all goes back to basics, we need to start improve on the small stuff, like getting the government to a better level - (by letting them take notes at the meetings and start doing in practice and action and not only by mouth). Thats the biggest problem so far - only promises and 1, 2, 3 years go by - nothing happend. Then suddenly, they have new plans. They need to implement and hire, stable, higher educated leaders, DG's, MG's and start to restructure their dept's, that is willing to make a change and not sit and wait for one.
i battle with answers like this, but just because i am leaving sa. so, i'll just say that any change will be an improvement.
the general has no hope for sa.
South Africa can only get better - please, how much worse?

But the thing is, it needs to start from the bottom, from the population - when enough people say enough - it must change now, then it will start to change.

Not before.
The people are almost powerless in the face of the governments criminal stance and non-action with regards to AIDS, crime and illegal immigration.

The only thing that will help is a regime change.

In the mean time South Africans should be telling as many people at home and abroad of the Governments incompetencies, criminal doings and non-actions.

International pressure is our best bet at this stage.
By changing our dependent and whining and complaining and blaming and flippin' hand-out-welcoming minds!
