Do whites in South Africa consider Israel 's reserved rights for Jews similar to their own apartheid policies? |
Travel Info I think Israel was one of the few states *JAPAN, Taiwan, Israel, etc* that openly continued relations with the RSA when white South Africans were running their country like a prison and torture chamber, laying the framework for the current tragedy. Travel Tips I think it was mutually beneficial, wasn't it? Israel needed the uranium, go figure..... Others "white South Africans were running their country like a prison and torture chamber" so were all the whites the prison guards as well? in your fairy tale, who had time to work and feed their families? Did you know that Jacobites were white Europeans? You don麓t really think things through much do you? I don't even have a Life Insurance Policy let alone an Apartheid one! I'm so uncool! Thank you. Very excellent reasoning. The root issue is the same, preference and life or death by membership in one or another group. Tragic turn for the powerful. bru, israel's policies are nothing like the apartheid policies. i take it you are referring to the palestine / israel conflict. this has to do with land - who owns what - not skin colour. i get what you are trying to ask, but phrase your questions more clearly. secondly, jacobite... Jacobite refers to: 1) A follower of Jacobitism, the political movement dedicated to the return of the Stuart kings to the thrones of England and Scotland 2) A Jacobite rising. 3) The Syriac Orthodox Church 4) The Malankara Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church. 5) One of the tribes in the Book of Mormon. none of the above have anything to do with the jewish nation. so, instead of making your name poef, either let us know if you are jewish, or stay away from asking questions that might be construed as being anti semitic, or hate speech related by jewish people. i will gladly answer questions on the jewish faith or nation, but will draw the line when it comes to answering loaded questions that are meant to incite and attack my people. we believe in freedom of speech in this forum, and will never report violations (most of us anyway), so please ensure that you keep your questions plain and decent. finally, welcome to the south african forum, and plaese be so kind as to stick to the rules. the general has spoken. Certainly not. Calling Israel apartheid shows a dreadful lack of knowledge. Israeli Knesset Member (MK) Zahalka himself puts the lie to this claim. He and other Israeli Arab MKs are living proof that Arab citizens of Israel, unlike blacks in apartheid South Africa, have full political and civil rights, can vote and be elected to their parliament, and can even freely (if immorally) support the enemies of the state they are sworn to represent. Indeed, many Israeli Arabs do not vote for the Arab parties, which have become so radicalized that they ignore their constituencies, but for Jewish parties. An Arab member of the Labor Party, for example, has just become a minister in the Israeli government. And that's just the beginning. Israelis, be they Arabs or Jews, are much freer than anywhere in the Arab world. This is relevant because the "apartheid" charge brands Israel as a human rights abuser. But what sense does it make to berate the only country in the region that does respect human rights, while ignoring the rampant abuses taking place throughout the Muslim world? . |
