Having problems with my ISP regarding my notebook plzx help? |
Travel Info macbook cannot acess international sites.like skype,google ect... i can acess local sites easy.Telkom has been no help they made me believe that the problem i was having with not being able to send mail was my macs fault so i went to the mac technical guy and he said there nothing wrong and he gave me the smtp server which their macs use and it worked and its till working on my mac ..Did anyone exsperience the same problem and if you did do u know how i can solve it.I know its telkoms fault. I can't help you though because I don't use apple. Or try and install windows in your mac and use that to surf the web and play games. You may check the settings have not been inadvertently reset to an incorrect or inaccessible point. If there is a reset, check that. Then set the automatic detection portions of your internet settings. Check the "proxy" buttons are correctly set. Scan for viruses and hackers gifts also...they are pesky. Good luck. Been there, done that, kicked the computer. In the end though, it was just my Internet settings that were incorrect. Bit embarrassing really. |
