What would you do to change the future of South Africa? |
Travel Info Using the skills you have available to you now or skills you will acquire in the future? Travel Tips Have you seen that new animated coke ad.If we all can just be a little bit more like that guy "spreading the love" .You dont even need any skills to have a positive attitude.Little things can make a big difference. Everyone in SA are always blinded by the negative things cant we just open our eyes and learn to see the positive first. Then we can focus on bigger problems like poverty etc. we cannot help others if we have a negative attitude doesnt matter how skilled we are. Others South Africa needs to be split up into states like the United States is (You have some of that already) then unite them as a country (You have some of that already) then every four years elect new leaders (You have some of that already). Well it looks like you only need to unite the people and once united then South Africa's future will change. This is a really tough question. But a good one especially for those who continue to complain.... I think that I would start with the tertiary education system, it's very elitist and most of the degrees available do not correspond with the jobs that are out there. I think more technical and skills based schools would provide more people the oppurtunity to be self employed. I would create colleges that would be a sort of in between high school and university , cos not everyone does their best in high school. mOst of us are too immature to figure out what we want to become at the age of 18... I was. So if there where colleges where you could do a few extra classes to fulfill the university entrance requirements, that may improve oppurtunities for people. Get ANC back to the roots and the drawing board.To let the present ANC know it is not a firm for few a directors but a political party for the people.The rest will fall in place and we will have the RAINBOW NATION. self Education A custom made eduction system designed by all the Universities, Technikons and Collages in South Africa they would have to design it to benefit the Masses and not some copied system from other countries. I would also give them more money to research new and innovative ways to improve our society. Create an economy that does not depend heavily on the far east and west. Buy back national assets like Telkom. The banks must increase their current reserves by 50% instead of throwing money away overseas. No free houses no free water & electricty I just make them affordable there is no honor in owning a free house you must work you are not entitled. Would love to use my skills in SA. Been denied that by a racist government. Therefore, now use them elsewhere. |
