Escape goat?

Do you think some white South Africans use AA and BEE as an escape goat for losing their jobs?

Especially sport
Have seen those guys that got dropped on a team because they were not good enough and then they start blaming AA?

Think of Kevin Peterson he left because of AA, but now which black player plays in his position number 3/4?
You see will all know who plays there the one and only J Kallis(Ledgend).
Remember at the time Gibbs was openning.
He had no chance and he blamed AA.

Look don't get me wrong AA is discrimination.

Yes, many do use AA and BEE as scape goats, and as long as you have a system that favours one group over another (Like Apartheid OR AA, OR BEE) then you will have people using it as a scape goat.

It is our duty to ensure that we apply these vital measures as fairly as possible (AA and BEE), to ensure that those who do use it unfairly to hide their own shortcoming cannot do so. When these systems are however incorrectly or unfiarly applied, then one should expext that it will be GENERALLY used as a scapegoat.

My previous boss told me I was so lucky this BEE thing was occuring coz now I can have a better job, whereas she has her business as the only means of a future for her son (4)....

Yes I got my job coz I'm black.... My position does require a black person, unless pray tell, there is some white person out there who speaks and can write at least two black languages, and can understand the rest enough to direct recordings!

I think BEE/AA is a form of discrimination yes... I'm not too knowledgable in the sport matter though, but I think if people are going to use it as an excuse where a black, talented person does and can do well for a company, they need to get a life (simple)...

Not every black person in a high/good position at a company is dumb and incompetent.... And any black person given a job they arent 100% qualified for just goes they're black, should feel ashamed
Now see Inno I don't agree with you there. You didn't get your job because of the BEE standards.

You got your job because you can speak 2 black languages and translate them well into English and over etc.

Nothing to do with BEE although I am sure, if your HR department is clever they use you in their statistics.

You needed to be able to do the job regardless of your color - are you telling me there was a white person who could have done it as well? Don't think so girl. You are there because you can do the work.

AA is based on the false premise that the Playing Fields were level at the start then Whitey somehow oppressed the Darkies from reaching the same level. Truth is that when Whitey arrived 400 years ago you hadnt discovered the Wheel and neither did you have any form of written language. There is nowhere in the World at any time where Darkies have invented something worthwhile ( other than the begging bowl and crime) and research has shown that SubSaharan Africans have IQ levels more than 30 points behind Whitey and 40 points behind Asians. Your football teams are an utter joke and will be fully humiliated in 2010 which you got on the back of bribes and corruption with FIFA.
