What will be the result of the political and economic quagmire that white South Africans have entered? |
Travel Info I often wonder when taking into account our noble history of great accomplishments, which are numerous, such as the distinguished Great Trek, The Anglo Boer Wars, our independence from Great Britain, the creation of first world infrastructure where there was none as well as our benevolent rule over an ever agressive and hostile native community outnumbering us 10 to 1, seeking all the while to actively preserve and promote their cultural identity. Are the Afrikaners still capable of greatness or will they be cast aside in history, their culture all but destroyed, only to become the worlds next nation of beggars, suffering under the racist and oppressive rule of a government resolved on their destruction? Will we see a new breed of freedom fighter emerging in the coming years to rescue and preserve our cultures and traditions? Or will the majority merely emigrate and leave behind a small minority to be exiled into history as a forgotten evil oppressive people deserving this fate? What was benevolent when you forced our families to live in the Bantustans where there were no prospects of making a decent living because of the land being not arable, while the white community was given fertile tracts of land? What was benevolent about you forcing my parents to carry a dompass and not being allowed to live wherever they want while your people were allowed to move freely in this country of the natives? YES! If they can join us in building this country. They must not isolate themselves because thats when they will perish. By them actually actively participating and not being holier then thou or I am smarter and showoff attitude, we could actually have a Afrikaaner president in the future. Afrikaaners have to stop acting like the enemy it does not do any of us any good. Here is a solution for you use it don't use it it all up to you. I know this is going to sound crazy but join the ANC use the ANC to change the country by you being in the ANC you become part of the history. Then it means the ANC can not play the race card and because they are representing you and the ANC prides itself for not being run by one person they always encorage dialog and debate which then means affrikaaners can actually have thier say. Ayiza you raise some interesting points there like for instance if the Afrikaner joined the ANC and by doing so also having a voice, i personally can't see how that would benefit them. The Afrikaner has always had a very strong cultural identity especially when it comes to religion,language and tradition no i am afraid it's over bar the shouting , they won't die out they will start the groot trek again else where and be a proud people again that's in their nature. |
