I'm taking my partner home to Newfoundland for his very first visit and I want to get him screeched in. What's the best place to do this? Is there any place left that still uses a cod instead of a stuffed puffin or something similar?

If you are in St John's, try Trapper John's. They are one of the many (and I mean MANY) Bars on George Street. But there are a nice few that do it. Also, the Scademia boat tour is doing it as well. Best thing to do is to check and see what times they do the screeching in. Oh and they do use the COD, sometimes real, sometimes stuffed. I'd check around though and see what place would best suit you. |
