Travel Tips Southwest is safe and reliable. their airfares are cheap and the flight attendants are ususally pretty funny. they are my 1st choice for flying. Others id rather be on southwest than any of the other air lines. it is the safest Very safe and reliable. They are very good about staying on schedule. Only thing I wished they did was assign seating so that you don't have to wait at the airport to get on. You can go on the internet way before your flight and get your boring pass to be in the first group. We always fly SouthWest....cheapest flights and the best schedules! It did feel safe, but be sure to bring a snack and a bottle of water :) Southwest has a very good safety record. Of course, considering that there hasn't been a fatal commercial airline accident in the United States in over four years, I think that could be said for any American airline. On a passenger/seat/mile basis, commercial airlines are the safest way to travel. Period. According to Department of Transportation statistics, air travel is even safer than cycling and walking. So rest assured. Enjoy your flight. I only fly Southwest, I would even fly with them if they charged more for their tickets! I feel very safe and I don't ever worry when I fly with my daughter, they have wonderful flight attendants. |
