Travel Info I need to find airports near belleville Illinois? Travel Tips Your best bet is Lambert (aka St Louis International). Another airport close by is Midamerica about 10 minutes from Belleville but I don't know how you will possibly find a flight in or out of that place. It doesn't do much business. Honestly, Lambert isn't far from Belleville (I used to live in Blvl AND StL) and it's VERY easy to get to. As an airport, if you take Southwest or some other airline that flies out of the East Terminal, you'll have NO problem whatsoever getting in and out of the airport. The East Terminal is newer than the rest of the airport and way easier to navigate. MidAmerica is closer to Belleville (practically adjacent) but you'll have an easier time getting flights in/out of Lambert. Hope this helps! Others Lambert Field is near St. Louis, but the farther side away from Belleville. There is a small airport called Spirit that is only a few miles away. Private planes can land there. Or Mid America lands a few planes weekly. The only airline there flies to Vegas and to Sanford (near Orlando, Fl.) But the major airport is Lambert. I live about 20 miles from Belleville. There are only two with flights out to other cities. Mid America and Lambert St. Louis International Airport. Parks College has an airport, but it's not for travel to and from other cities. |
