What is there to do in St. Louis besides go to the Cardinal Games? |
Travel Info I'm going to St. Louis this summer with my dad for 2 Cardinal games but they are both at night. Does anyone know of any exciting or fun things to do around new Busch Stadium. I don't think we are going to have a car... Anything information would be awesome! Travel Tips If you are going to be in Downtown St. Louis I would definitely go to see the Gateway Arch. You will not regret it, believe me...it is spectacular and spellbinding when you're standing at the leg of the arch and looking straight up. There is also a small museum inside. The arch is situated in a peaceful park with small lagoons with sweet little duckies swimming. You will love it. You can also take a ride up to the top and see all of the Mississippi River and Downtown St. Louis! Also, I would definitely suggest going to see the Missouri Botanical Gardens know as Shaw's Garden. There is nothing like it in the world...Japanese Garden portion is gorgeous. It's not downtown, but you will love it! Others you will be few blocks away from the arch witch is a must go up in.and union station is few blocks other way.but we have metro link that you can ride for $1.00 to a lot of places.is an interesting town hope you and dad enjoy. Take a paddle wheel river boat down the Mississippi. Go to the ARCH, there is a museum inside, and you can go to the top of the ARCH. When are you going to be there? There's a Shakespeare festival running until the 18th of June every night at 8 in Forest Park (except Tuesdays).
