What goes down in the STL?

I am considering moving to STL, but what goes on there? Are the clubs cool, does Chingy and Nelly come there alot. What goes on? I was also considering Indianapolis and Cleveland as well. I need to be somewhere that has hip hop culture and just thing to do period.

Hey Lina,
First of all, as for the first person who answered this question, Chiny is not from the ghetto. I know this because Chingy went to my high school (McCluer North) in Florissant, MO whichi s a suburb of STL and within Saint Louis County. Nelly, is from Univesity City, which has some good parts and some not so good parts, but is by no means considered the worst neighborhood in STL. There are some really bad areas in north STL, but neither Nelly or Chingy grew up there.
There is a good hip hop culture here and a lot of people think it's really only getting started. There are a lot of more underground hip hop artists here that haven't quite made it big yet outside of st. louis. It could potentially be a really exciting place to live in the next few years though, if yo'ure into that type of thing i suppose.

chingy and nelly go to their HOMES in tha stl. its pretty unlikely that your gonna run into them. and your sayn that u wanna move there... you do realize that theyre from the ghetto, and that your gonna be moving into that form of situation. so think ghetto life...and thats whatll be going down there. duh. the clubs are in the buzy part. there arent houses on the highway. most people live in the suburbs or county. its all pretty much called stl. this is an ignorant question.

STL, is not the same as everywhere, I have lived in numerous cities, and byfar this is the best. The weather is amazing with all four seasons. The people are friendly, and no the whole town is not ghetto. It is beautiful..The clubs here in Stl, do close down, but for the most part there is always something going on around here..
nothing much, but im not a very good person to ask. im too young to go to club, i've never seen Nelly, but i do know that my best friend's dad owns a bowling alley and Nelly bowls there every thursday. Missouri weather is freaky! it's unpredictable and we get a lot of tornadoes during the summer. but we have the arch and people are relatively nice. AWESOME people here (including myself) and over all it's a normal place. but im not familiar with the club scene.
All I know is MISSOURI IS AWESOME!
