I don't know of that, but St Louis has the Lemp Mansion which is frequented by the Lavendar Lady ghost - they do mystery dinners and weddings there besides great dining. Some people have stayed there and freaked out but I don't think you get paid.

For holiday fun: Nearby the mansion, the Lemp Brewery haunted house takes you down to the Haunted Cave during Halloween, there is also a Haunted Hotel in St Charles during the season - other Haunted Houses too.

The real places in St. Louis where the exorcism was held (the one that was the basis for The Excorist) are mostly gone (there were actually several sites, but the movie centers on one instead) - but the one that had the most activity for the rituals on St Louis University campus was torn down and a parking lot put in its place. The spot where the room would be if the place was still there has to be continually fixed, as large cracks form in the parking lot on that spot. They have no other explanation why.

There are other haunted sites, but none that I know of offer money to stay overnight.

st. louis... i believe you have to pay for it.
NO
No there is no place like that where they pay you to survive. There is the Limp Mansion which is supposedly haunted. It has a resteraunt and there are rooms there for you to stay in if you like. It is quite a spooky place and some very interesting history.
I remember hearing a story about this place about ten years ago. I can't swear that it was true because I don't remember who told me about it and I don't remember the name. Apparently it was a place downtown on near Soulard district with about 13 floors to it. Unlike most haunted houses, it was a place where the employees could touch you (not hurt you or anything of course) so almost no one made it through because they would just grab you and throw you out in various spots. I think there were also special passages you took that led out against your knowledge and trap doors that opened that also led you out. I haven't heard anything about them recently--they probably got sued over the 'touching' thing and went out of business.
