Travel Info Going to st. louis for the1st time to see my beloved ram, from so cal ill be there for 5 days what must i see Travel Tips Take a tour of the Lemp mansion. It is a reportedly haunted house of a former beer mogul here in STL. Check out Ted Drew's frozen custard, its one of those local landmarks that you cannot call your self a St. Louisian unless you have been there. Adult entertainment is on the other side of the river. We have a penthouse club in sauget area and huslter club in washington park. We have a Dave and Busters in Earth City if you like to play games. We have a hockey arena downtown, so if you come in hockey season you may be able to pick up some tickets. As mentioned before, we have alot of blues music in St. Louis. Go to Blueberry hill in the loop (owned by chuck berry), they usually have live music there. Forest Park area has alot to do for you: zoo, art museum, and science center. If you come in winter and it snows, forest park has our most popular sledding spot - Art Hill. We have a six flags about 20 mins outside of STL and FrightFest is about to start. (if you coming in OCT). The have riverboat cruises and helicopter rides on the river front now. We also have riverboats casinos. Someone suggested the Queen, but the president is better. The Queen has low ceilings so the smoke just hangs so thick. The President has high ceilings so you do not get that problem. Hope that helps get you started. Others go up into the arc....even if you are scared of hights....its such a rush NELLY i hear his all over the place in STL u must c him he is so hot an mayb even hotter in person Nothing, there isn't anything worth seeing here in St. Louis. We have attractions, but they are lame. the arch is cool the casino queen its fun there really isnt a whole lot to do though go see the rams play! They won, so that's good. I would say go apple picking or the pumpkin farm if you have kids, you probably don't have that in california, do you? Otherwise, the zoo is great, and there is a special exhibit at the Botanical Gardens that's renowned. Probably nothing is "must see" but if you're here for 5 days you might as well have fun! Go to Soulard at night for some fun and good food. Go up in the Arch for sure, it is a great structure, fantastic musuem underneath and awesome view. Then head over to Laclede's Landing for some fun clubs and food and beautiful buildings, those we have all over town ! Soulard is the best area to be in for music and fun at night...the BEST blues anywhere is at BBs Jazz and Soups on Broadway !!! We have The Hill for Italian food that is out of this world, our Zoo is free and one of the best in the world, and yes it's great for adults ! We have beautiful parks, great wineries with winding tree lined roads to ride to and from them, so don't have too many glasses of wine ! Glad you are visiting and I hope you like our city ! |
