What stuff is there to do in St.Louis? |
Travel Info I'm driving up there in a few hours and i am just wondering what stuff there is to do? i have been there lenty of times so i have already been to the arch and things like that....... Travel Tips Casinos Bass Pro Shop If into outdoors stuff Union Station - Mall in the old Train Station Fast Eddies - Interesting Tavern across the river in Alton IL Several Strip Clubs Just across the river Might be a Show at the Fox Ride Metro Link Others The are things in the forest park area the Zoo there is great and the science center is way lots of fun I love the sci fi museum in the basement. There is a trian musem, Oh gosh so much to do. I live in KC. and I have gone to St Louis lots of time for Mini vacations. I lived in St Louis 30 years before I just moved south. Check out Carlyle Lake, 50 miles for St Louis, nice area, lots of parks for hiking, especially Powder Valley, Creve Coeur Lake is good for hiking and rollerblading, picnics etc. There are casinos for gambling. The Darkness in Soulard has been named one of the best haunted houses in the US. http://www.scarefest.com/darkness_06/ind... If that's not your thing, you could go to any sports bar tonight -- it's guaranteed to be hopping with people watching the Cards game. Drive north up the river and watch the eagles. There is a new park near Afton where Lewis & Clark had a camp just before their trip. tim :st.louis is happening! go to the sheriton & unin station or the hell with it the broadway oyster bar. soulard is cool get a cab. |
