Are there any nice highrise residential apartments in st. louis? |
Travel Info i am moving to st. louis within the next few months from miami beach. i am used to living in highrises, right in the middle of most the of the social life and other venues.with the miami area. i know that st. louis is a much different place, but i want to keep my same basic life style. i am a straight white male in my early 30s and i would like to be in an area that most of the people are in there 20s, 30s, 40s and are social active. Travel Tips I think Mansion house and Pavillion are Upscale apartment communities downtown. Not sure if they meet your high-rise standard. There will be one in the Ball-park village once that goes up. Others just depends what area you are looking at in st.louis there is some very nice places. you need to check out the loft district on Washington Ave. Incredible lofts for cheap compared to miami. Washington is "arty", try the Central West End (very cool) or the city of Clayton (lotsa lawyers) or try theDelmar loop(goth goes midwestern).Let me know if you want more info. I agree with the guy above me. They have some really really nice lofts in the downtown area. Oh, do you like baseball? There are some really nice lofts right across from the new Busch Stadium. I think they are either called Baseball Lofts or Stadium Lofts. I can't remember. I think that would be cool. Try this website: http://www.stlouislofts.com/ The lofts district is awful. The apartments are ok, but there's nothing on washington street except for discos. A lot of hte apartments don't even come with parking! Soulard Market Lofts is the best of the bunch. You're right in Soulard, which is the funky neighborhood downtown, close to the farmers market for fresh vegetables, there's a gym in the building and parking also. |
