Travel Info How do you feel sbout beaing raked the most Dangerous city in the U.S Travel Tips I see things happen here in St.Louis but I also think that the media plays on the fears of the public. I have lived here for years and I have also lived in new jersey, Chicago, Milwaukee, new york and Dallas to name a few and I don't feel any bigger threat in living here than I did in living in those places Every city has a rough part of town but I don't feel that ours is particular rougher than the ones I have been to. Source(s): Personal Experience Other Travel Tips It's sad. I think we need to take a serious look at why people commit these kinds of crimes?? Also, I live in the City of St. Louis. I do walk outside and around my block at night. I have never in the 4 years I've lived in my house heard of any violent crime in or around my neighborhood. Although, my car has been broken into 3 times, my husband's twice. I think the violent crime rate in north St. Louis is so high, that it makes that statistic staggering. We need to do something, I just don't know what. Mayor Slay?? You would have to define "Most dangerous" first. Most dangerous how? and most importantly to WHO? I dont believe its most dangerous to any average person. Just most dangerous to black gang members. It's an unfair stat. They just went with the city of st. louis and not the st. louis metropolitian area. The city is dangerous. The county is safe. Maybe they were looking at East Side and the North Side when they compilied these figures... i feel so terrible |
