Travel Info I am looking for a cheap hotel in St. louis Mo near the Edward Jones Dome for after an event in Feburary.? Travel Tips Nothing that close to downtown is going to be under $100 a night. Check the Drury inn by Union Station. I've had some luck getting $45 rooms during the week. You may have to take Metolink and walk a few blocks so you may not feel safe if you are by yourself. Your next closest and safest bet would be to stay at a motel near the airport and again take Metrolink to the even then back again. Don't forget to check the websites like cheaptickets.com and the one travelocity.com. They will always get you the best deal. Hope this helps Source(s): I'm from St. Louis. Check at expedia.com for your exact travel dates..http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qsc... www.expedia.com Is the event possibly Monster Jam. I am staying at the Rennissance, which is a couple of blocks. I tried the Drury (which is right next door) but they did not have rooms available that night. If I am uncannily correct about the event, that is the same night as Mardi Gras...so book early. I got my room for 119. That was the cheapest of the hotels nearest dome except for the econo lodge. However, I drive by there everyday and I know where the econo lodge is located. I would rather pay a little extra instead of staying at that one. |
