Hi, Missourians! Some questions about BIKE-CAMPING the KATY TRAIL? |
Travel Info How long should the trip take at a casual pace? Is it fairly flat and level, or sloping? Are there quite a few camping spots? Others I've travelled quite a bit on the trail, especially the middle of the state around Columbia. It's well maintained, and is generally pretty flat. You can find numerous camping spots along the trail. As for time of year, if you are going the entire length of the trail, I would say spring and fall are the best. The summer and winter and Missouri can get pretty extreme at times. |
