There's a neighborhood called The Hill which has some of the best Italian restaurants around - the fried artichokes at Rigazzi's are probably the most delicious food ever. You will find all the traditional suburban things in Ballwin - mostly franchised restaurants and chain stores. To really experience St. Louis, you will want to drive into either Clayton, the U City Loop, the Hill, Grand South Grand area or downtown....much better food and atmosphere at any number of locally owned bars and restaurants.... They have alot of places to shop in St. Louis. They have different night clubs. You just have to go out and look around. When you go shopping just ask people. You can go to the arch. You can go up in it as well. You can go to the zoo. There are many things to do, but you just have to take the time out to find them. Check out the web site below. It's a great resource. www.stlouis.com if you like to eat chicken for a very reasonable price go to big bear grill at manchester/west glen farms. also drive down to chesterfield valley and go to the movies or shopping. lots of awesome restaurants; old spaghetti factory, theres a buffet with asian and american style food, steak 'n shake, bob evans, just to name a few. if lafayette, marquette, or parkway are putting on a play, go see it they do a great job for being high schoolers. also six flags is open from april to october! and is about a 30 minute drive away in eureka. |
