It's a public course but centrally located. It has a clubhouse, restaurant and proshop. The Boathouse, also in Forest Park, is another great place to eat. You need to make reservations 7 days prior and depending whether you play 9 holes, 18 holes, weekends or twilight golf, fees range from $13 -$40, cart is extra. Be sure to have a drink in the Grand Hall for me! Forest Park. Winghaven www.winghavencc.com Tapawingo. Just over the river in Illinois you have Far Oaks and Stonewolf. Those are very good courses, and aren't overpriced. The Orchards in Belleville, or Grand Mariner at the Holton State Park in Centreville, IL. The town is a dump, but the course is a great deal for the money. On the first tee, you are aiming directly at the arch. |
