What is any great spots up there in St.louis,MO? |
Travel Info I'm checking around with everybody to know any great spots up there in St.louis,Mo for a honeymoon? Travel Tips Well congrats on the wedding. There is a lot of things to do up here is just depends what you are looking for. If you like wineries there are several nice B&B's in Defince MO it is just about 45 m in outside of downtown. There are also some lovely places in Herman MO. I have included the MO wine website very helpful. Nice country drives with great views and of course some great wine! www.missouriwine.org www.missouriwinecountry.com If you want to come stay in the city for your Honeymoon there is a to to do here. Of course we have the Arch which is really neat. We also have several Casinos if you are into that. We have Forest Park which has a place called the boat house you can rent boats get some wine and cheese and have fun on the lake down there. Very cool the lake was there for the 1904 world fair. We also have the Muny and the Fox theaters they always have great shows going on. Some nice places to stay are the Danielle Hotel, 7 Gabels, of course we do have the Hilton, Marriot and Hampton all downtown. Union station is fun to shop places to eat and some good history. There is also a comedy club there which is fun. There are few riverboat cruises left which do eveing tours and dinner very fun nice views of the city at night. Below is the visitors website if you contact them they will send you maps, info and coupons which can help you save some money. I would recommend Miso for dinner and also Truffles wonderful food!!!!! Others If you like wineries there are a bunch in the St. Louis area. I can't really think of anywhere that is good for a honeymoon here unless you want to do the "tourist-y" thing and visit the Arch, The Old Courthouse, etc. I left some a few links I thought would be good to check out! Sidney Street cafe or 1111 Mississippi, in Soulard District in STL. are romantic places to eat you have terrible grammar If you come here you have to go to The Hill for Italian food. I suggest House of Cunetto's. It is incredible! Some of the best Italian food in the world is in St. Louis. |
