What are some friendly towns in saint louis? |
Travel Info I am looking for a place close to WAshington university...like a community center with gym n stuff...or at a place near marryland heights which has many indians.... Travel Tips If you're talking about the Hilltop/Danforth Campus then maybe Clayton. If you're talking about the Medical Campus then maybe the Central West End. Others St Louis is NOT a friendly town at all prolly the rudest in the country it certainly is the most dangerous city in the country. You should check out University City and don't ever ever cross the river! If you're looking for a place around WashU, try "the Loop". It has a really active night life, plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. If you're going to be in Maryland Heights, check out Westport Plaza. http://www.slfp.com/west-port-plaza.html... http://www.ucityloop.com/ The Loop area in U City has things to do, places to eat, etc. Also, you could look into living in nearby Clayton. Some places in Clayton are expensive, but I lived there for a year and had a reasonably priced apartment. Czeck Mark is wrong! - St. Louis is a big city and of course there are places not to go. Over-all it is a very safe and friendly place. In the City itself, check out the following neighborhoods: Clifton Heights, Lindenwood, St. Louis Hills. - You can get some idea at this link http://stlouis.missouri.org/neighborhood... Outside the city proper: Webster Groves, University City (more urban but near Wash.U.), Maplewood, Richmond Heights. - Each has a fine web page to view. The clayton rec center is near wash U, really nice new facility, reasonable rates too. |
