First of all-I had a laugh when I read the answer above mine....

On the way back to St. Louis I believe they used the Missouri River. Throughout the whole trip they used many rivers, the Clearwater River, the Snake River, and the Columbia River.

Which one are you talking about - the old Superman movie, Smallville, or Superman Returns? Honestly, I don't remember any scene you're talking about.
WInnie, I hope you were not serious!!! (1st answer) It was the Missouri River, Marias River and Columbia River. I am still laughing about Lois and Clark!!!
