Travel Info some stuffed animals? I have alot and I don't want to just throw them out. They are in excellent condition. Thanks Travel Tips Hospitals can use them for the childrens floor. Also any of your Goodwills and Salvation Armys (you have one of each in St. Charles) can use them.Churches also like them for the nursery and smaller kids. You can donate them to the local shelter (Red Cross use to have one in St. Charles). I would also call AmVets, they pick up and pretty much take anything from clothes, toys to furniture. Also good to know when you are spring cleaning! Also the Ronald McDonald house downtown could really use them. I know it is a little far but, they always welcome ways to make the kids feel at home. I hope this helps you, all of their numbers can be found in the phone book or online. Others Contact the Victims Unit of the sheriffs dept and see if they need them to comfort the children of abuse . Also, New Life Evangelistic Center, at 1411 Locust Street Stl may take some. 1-314-421-3020 Most fire houses will accept donations of gently used stuffed animals. They give them to kids that have had house fires or been in auto accidents. My daughter's girl scout troop donated to our local fire department a couple years ago. |
