St.Louis rich or poor?

I know st.louis has lost population lately but do they still have a large upper-class population or is it all ghetto. If so where did the rich people go. just wondering?

I grew up just across the river from St. Louis and from my point of view it was mostly ghetto, and that was more than 10 years ago. Don't get me wrong, there are things I miss and love about it, but it was definitely ghetto. Granite City, Madison, Brooklyn, E. St. Louis, Venice---All Ghetto, much of the city too. Even the bridges were ghetto, I was always afraid to cross them for fear that they were actually rusted to the point of collapse.

Ironically, they have the best Zoo I've ever been to and the rest of the Forest Park campus is pretty nice too, especially the science center.-----And it's all free!
For those who gave a thumbs down, I didn't mean that all of St.Louis is ghetto. The areas I listed definitley are. The downtown area actually is much cleaner than some big cities. Primarily I was referring to the area's I was accustom to. And the last time I was there the McKinnly Bridge had holes in some lanes big enough for a car to fall through. They blocked off those lanes, but you could still see them. I always wondered what they did with the toll money.
just like any city it depends on which part of st louis you are talking about... some places in the city itself are very nice and pretty expenive

if youre talking about st louis county, like the city it depends.
some houses can go close to a million or so

I live in STL. Mainly middle class. The area around my school (in Ladue) Is very wealthy. Places like Florissant are Middle class, but there aren't to many poor places. There's a tiny place where if you saw it you might think it's a ghetto, but it's really not to bad. I think the population down here overall ranges from Middle to Upper Middle.
