St. louis rib festival? |
Travel Info at the rib festival i filled out this form thing to win a trip to orlando and bahamas. this guy called me and said that i won and would send me a package and dvd and tons of info in the mail. everything he said sounded so real. he told me i would need a passport and where to get them cheap and everything. stupidly i gave him my credit card number on the phone. do you think i get screwed? did anyone else fill this out or get called? Travel Tips Call your bank to see if any charges have been made. Then call the Missouri Attorney General to see if they have had any other reported scams like this. Did you get any contact information for the business? If you have a reputable bank they will reverse any charges for free. US Bank did that for me when I got scammed online. Others Why would you fall for this? Do you really think people want to give you a free trip for no reason, and you bought nothing from them, and never will?? Watch Peoples Court at least and don't give out your info to anybody!!!!! |
