What is it like to live in St. Louis, MO? |
Travel Info Are there a lot of things to do? What about the weather? Travel Tips It's very humid in the summer and awfully cold in the winter. We used to get more snow but the past few years we get hit with ice storms more than snow. It's also a part of tornado alley so we get some pretty bad storms. The city itself is safe during the day, but I'd not go into the city centre at night by yourself. I've been mugged in St. Louis in daylight though. There are quite a few things to do. We have one of the top US Zoo's and it's free. We also have a great science center, city museum, and a Six Flags just outside of the city. The city is a huge baseball town and you'll be surrounded by red during baseball season. We have a good Mardi Gras parade every year and fireworks over the arch at fourth of July. People are friendly here and things move a lot slower than things do on the coasts. Others Our weather is crazy, the summer it gets really humid but you get used to it. We do have some snow in the winter but no more than a couple inches usually. We have great parks and museums. There is alot going on as far as clubs and bars go too. I think St. Louis is a great city. I actually live 10 minutes east of St. Louis on the Illinois side of the river. I have been many places, and this will always be home. The people around here are very mellow and fun, I really think all St. Louisans are just trying to have a good time. Oh yeah, and we are home to the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals! You can't top that. Welcome, come party with us in the Lou. our weather is CRAZY its very hot during the summer and very cold during the winter. but its fun you can go to cardinals, rams, and blues games. a hole bunch of concerts are at st louis. what ever you like to do it is in st louis. live in st louis for 13 years and still going. |
