What are your "Top 5 St. Louis Attractions" for out-of-towners? |
Travel Info I will be traveling to St. Louis tonight and I wanted to give my boyfriend the St. Louis "expereince" I am origianlly from there however it has been years. Thigns change and I am sure so has the times. MY riginaly choices would have been: Ted Drewes The Hill The Arch The Landing Union Station Any other recommendations? Travel Tips The Zoo The Arch The Brewery The Art Museum The Landing sucks. Much of it is dirty from the nearby construction and just isn't the same. No great clubs (though they try), and too many kids trying to peddle crack. Not even worth your time. Others St. Louis has a world class zoo. If you are into gambling, right across the bridge in East St. Louis are several casinos. My personal favorite is the Union Station City Museum Cathedral Basilica Crown Candy Kitchen Central West End Lafayette Square Botanical Gardens City Museum on a weekend night Big Bang on the landing for drinks The hill for dinner The Arch THe Zoo also the brewery, ted drewes, fitz's, lafayette square (great micrbrewey square one) CWE etc explorestlouis.com 1. gateway arch 2. ferry ride across missisipi 3. galleria mall 4. st louis zoo 5.
