ST. LOUIS, Missouri hotels?

Travel Info
I am planning a get-away for my fiance and I in St. Louis, Missouri to go see a St. Louis Cardinals game. I am looking for a hotel that is near or in the downtown area close to the stadium, it's nice, and it's not ridiculously expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to stay?

Travel Tips
I stayed at the Rennissance Hotel the past winter for an event at Ed Jones. I paid 119 for the room. The hotel is right next door to a metrolink stop. That stop is two short stops away from Busch. The hotel was rather nice.

The Westin is directly across the street from Busch, but I think that is closer to 200 a night. Have not stayed there yet though.
Others
This one is nice and I've stayed at it. It is downtown, but not that close to the stadium. www.millenniumhotels.com

There is also a hotel right at the ballpark - Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark hotel. You can check it out at http://www.hotels-stl.com/dtsl.htm.... Also on this site it shows other St. Louis hotels in downtown.

Good Luck!
There are quite a few hotels near the ballpark. I'd suggest the new Hilton Hotel that is right across from the stadium. There are several others that are nice...Millennium, Hyatt, Drury Inn, Marriott and the Hampton Inn.

Mike Shannon's is a great place to get dinner/drink before & after the game and is right next to the stadium. Also, Maggie O'Brein's or Patty O's if you want to rub elbows with some of the players. Harry's is across the street from the Hampton Inn and is another hot spot for some late night fun. Have a great time....Go Cards!
My hometown
The Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark ( http://www.resideo.com/87740629.hotel... ) is probably your best bet -- it's right next to the stadium, 2 blocks from the river & the Arch!

You can also head to http://www.resideo.com/us/missouri/stlou... and click the "Check Availability" button -- choose your dates, submit the form, then sort the results by distance from the stadium.

Good luck, and have fun!
Almost all hotels downtown are pricey, but nice. Check hotwire.com for some great deals on Downtown hotels! I recently got a room at the Hilton Ballpark for less than $60 a night!
There are alot of hotels near the downtown area, but they will be on the expensive side. But you might want to check at the Caseyville exit or other ones not in downtown. You can always ride the metro train all over town. That way you wouldn't have to worry about driving or parking. Hope this helps you out some and you both have a great time. Don't forget to go to the top of the arch while your there!!!
