Travel Info I'm planning to go to Sydney in July. Travel Tips how much time do you have? That skybridge is called the harbour bridge. make sure you see Darling harbour and the sydney aquarium The botanic garden, the art gallery, the musuem The rocks and the observatory Sydney tower ( centre point) If you have time to venture out of the city centre, Bondi beach (July is winter) or take a Ferry to manly. Others If you stay for a few days you should get you a so called "Sydney pass". You can buy it on either the red Explorer bus or the blue Bondi bus, at Sydney Ferry ticket offices at Circular Quay & Manly Wharf, at CityRail stations, AirportLink train station offices at International and Domestic terminals, Transit Shops at Circular Quay, Queen Victoria Building, Wynyard station, selected Travel Agents and Info Kiosks and everywhere you see a "SydneyPass sold here " sign. It's for either 3, 5, or 7 days within an 8 days period. You'll save a lot of money when you buy this. You'll get a brochure when you buy it which tells you all different sightseeing spots in Sydney - including where about you'll get discounts when showing your Sydney pass. You can use this pass on both Explorer buses on any of your chosen days for how many times you want, you can use it on ALL public ferries within Sydney harbour including the JetCat to Manly (Oceanworld, the Corso) and the RiverCat running up the Parramatta river, and on every tourist harbour cruises during the day (morning/afternoon/evening cruises) which are run by Sydney ferries (green/beige ferries), and then you also can use it on all CityRail lines within city area as well as on the buses. Prices are 110 AUD for 3 days, 145 AUD for 5 days, and 165 AUD for 7 days (prices were vaild until 31st March 2007, certainly a little more expensive now.)
