Work and Live in the great Australia... i'm Italian...? |
Travel Info Hi I'm an italian student and I want to have a year-out after the High School and I thought to go in Australia.. and if I won't come, I've decided to go there after the University. So, I heard that the political power of Australia gives an opportunity to the students to work and live there. I can't remember very well, but I think that they give a place where sleep and eat and a little job (not well paid, but only to start to integrate yourself in the community) in Australia. Am I right? If i'm not, isn't there any possibility to live and work, starting with a few money? Sorry for my bad english (I'm only 14). Thanx for the answer... Travel Tips You'll fit right in, in Melbourne - heaps of Italians there. I am sure any fellow Italian will take you on for some part time work while you study good luck. :-) Others You can live here as long as you are proving to the government that you aren't just coming to bludge (cheat) off the welfare system we have. There are a lot of opportunities for young students to live and study down here, but more information, I think you'd have to talk with your consulate for a better understanding. Age hasent anything to do with bad grammer, and the political power has nothing to do with work or living here. Australia used to be the land of milk and honey, but not anymore. You may find seasonal work in the fruit picking areas, but you will need a work visa. Caravan Parks offer the cheapest accomadation, about $10 for a tent site per day. At 14 you would be too young to try to find your way around this huge country, and employers wouldnt offer young people work anyway!! |
