I'm flying into Australia at the end of September, any suggestion where would be best place to start? Also.... |
Travel Info Does anyone want to meet up?? Travel Tips Definitely start in Melbourne and work your way to Sydney then to the Gold Coast. If you want to see every city you can fly over to Perth, then Adelaide and back to Melbourne to fly home. Darwin is a little boring, the National Park is beautiful but that is about all. Canberra (ACT) is great and is only 2 hours drive from Sydney. I hope that helps! Others Start at the airport and work your way from there. The airport would be a great place to start. Heathrow airport would seem a good place to start sydney If you make it by the final weekend in Sept. more specifically the final Sat, then start in melb. It is the grandfinal of Aussie Rules football, and while it is almost impossible to get tickets, the vibe in the city is cool, and a great cultural experience. If you can try and get yourself invited to a traditional Grandfinal BBQ to watch the game. Have fun, enjoy my city! If your landing in Sydney, have a quick look around there then head north to Queensland. www.queenslandholidays.com.au then fly over to the Northern Territory www.northaustraliaholidays.com These 2 sites will help you to see the Great barrier reef, tropical islands, ancient rainforest, the Whitsundays, the outback, Kakadu national park, Uluru (ayes rock) . Hope it helps! |
