What is it like when trying to get hostel accomodation in Sydney over the Xmas and New Year period? |
Travel Info Anyone have experience? If so, do you have to book in advance? Travel Tips Its an absolute nightmare! I'm a travel agent and every year it books out months in advance. A lot of places have a surcharge over NYE and some don't even take pre-booking. Definitely get in early to get the best price, otherwise you will be sleeping on the street! Others ooohh....quite a task actually. It would be a really good idea to pre-book but if something happens that you must absolutely book on short notice then try the smaller dingier hostels. You'll probably have to leave Syndey city and go to a suburb somewhere but there should be plenty. But yeah, if you can then definitely book ahead. |
