Travel Info When is the best month to travel,nice will,new thing to try, must try........ Travel Tips for melbourne & sydney..best months to travel would be feb-april & sept - nov.. depends on how long u'll be there & ur interest..there's plenty of must try. plenty of things to see too. melbourne - phillip island, great ocean road, ballarat. sydney - fox studios (not sure if its still operating), 3 sisters. a must try would be the fresh pie & mash in sydney melbourne - dont forget to go bridge road for some bargain shopping..its just 20 mins tram ride from the city. ---- for cheap hotels in australia, check out http://cheaptimesharerental.blogspot.com... Others I would prefer Melbourne to Sydney any day. weather is great now. www.melbourne.com.au - for attractions, things to do and see. I prefer Sydney..but Melbourne much cleaner Now (April/May) or Early-Mid Spring (september/October) the weather is warmer (by about 3 degrees) in Sydney than Melbourne so go to Melbourne after sydney (if you travel in september/October) or go to melbourne first if you travel in April/May. it does depend tho what weather you like- ie if you want beaches- or snow/skiing etc- If you want the beach then come in November-December (too hot in the middle of summer) if you want Snow- then come in June-August, (NB september there is still snow at the ski resorts) to me, sydney is young and energetic. and melbourne is more likely tradition with stylish. love the sydney of the water view and beach. Waston Bay, Opera house, Royal Botanic Garden. they're all pretty worth to see. and In sydney, best thing is u can find all kinds of food from almost from all of the world (i guess, u can do the same, too. but personally like food better in Sydney :) ) Have fun and good luck for ur travelling sydney has everything melbourne has, with better weather. spring would be a good time to travel i reckon. shopping in the city is a must, plus try out the great beaches. bondi and manly are too touristy though. If you like to shop, experience culture, and love to go out at night and party then Melbourne is better..... however if you are visiting Australia you should see Sydney so that you can see the harbour..... The best time to visit Australia would be April or perhaps September-November..... avoid Melbourne in winter as it can be quite cool.... |
