Moving from Canada to Australia for school...?

Travel Info
I plan on moving to Australia for school next year and cannot decide where i want to go... I wont have a car so i prefer a city that is not too hard to get around but is still exciting to live in... I am considering Gold Coast, Brisbane, or Wollongong but have also heard good things about Perth. Any suggestions ?????

Travel Tips
IF you like it HOT all year around - what about Cairns in North Qld?
There are direct flights into Cairns as it's an international airport.

We have an excellent Campus and University here.
Public transport buses are great and you would be living in a tropical lifestyle.
Part-time jobs, no problems..

Browse through the websites and see what you think.

If you want to get around by public transport, forget the Gold Coast and Wollongong. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide all have good public transport systems in most areas. I don't know about Perth, I haven't used public transport over there. Perth, however, is very expensive now and a long long way from anywhere else.
All schools are as equally good in all states therefore all you need to do is choose what life style you want.
Wollongong is a great place to study and does have public transport, and is only a 80 minute train trip to Sydney by train. Lovely beaches good nightlife and lots of uni students
I'm from there but living in Canada right now
the Southern cross university is located in NSW with campuses in Lismore and Tweed Heads - read the two websites to find out more. Lovely as Perth is, If your time is limited I think you will see more of the country basing yourself on the central east coast Have a look! studyabroad.scu.edu.au www.ifsa-butler.org/programs/a...
