Travel Tips Kirribilli- right beside the harbour bridge looking across the harbour to the Opera house (you can stand under the harbour bridge and it won't rain on you) MacMahons Point- a fantastic view of the bridge in its entirety (and the ferry wharf shelter will provide protection from the rain) Cremorne Point- A great view of some of the houses and waterfront architecture and trees as well as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge artistically partially hidden by the peninsula on which Kirribilli and Neutral Bay suburbs reside (I'm pretty sure there's also a sheltered ferry wharf there) Milson's Point- this pretty much is the same as Kirribilli, but on the west side of the bridge as opposed to the east side of the bridge...only a hundred metres apart but it offers a whole new perspective on the bridge and Opera House. If it's your wedding, congratulations and many happy returns...If it's a friend's wedding, congratulations to them. Others You could try Balmoral. It has that beautiful head/island area if it's not raining, and the Gezebo if it rains. Clifton Gardens has a park and habour view (just kick the fishermen off the wharf), Nationl park near the zoo, the Zoo itself has nice gardens if ya look for them and may allow you a short visit, just call them well befor hand. Castle Craig and parklands below the bridge. Get ya street directory out and go for a drive about for a day and pick a spot ya may find on ya own ?? Good luck on the day M8 ! |
