The best month to visit Australia?

We are going towards the end of this year but dont know exactly when to go.
October or November is most likely,it will be spring there,dont want it too hot or humid.
I know its different climates all over the country,we are going to Sydney.

Sydney should be in the late 20s at that time. Should be a good time there. If you visit \North Queensland do not swim in Spring or Summer as Box Jellyfish are about then and they can kill. You would be ok around the Gold or Sunshine coasts though. I would go September/October time if I were you.

Go whenver you can. I went to Sydney in August and had a blast.
I just visited Australia a month ago. People in Australia say that we just visited on the right time because it was fall. Try visiting on the first week of May. It is really beautiful
We went in August and had great weather and able to wear tea shirts all the time. Only cold place was Ballart near Melbourne but it is their winter then.
