Is there an Australian equivalent to the U.K's job centre?

Travel Info
If so what is it called?

Travel Tips
Centrelink is our job finding and unemployment payment centre.

Added note: To the smart a** who obviously gave me a thumbs down for trying to help...Get a life! I wasn't aware Centrelink wasn't a job centre as everyone I know goes there if they don't have a job and need to be referred elsewhere to find one. And she even says you need to be unemployed and have a job seeker number to use one so the place to start is CENTRELINK!!!!

If you are looking for a job you might try the website below...Good luck.

Other Travel Tips
We have several job network providers, and when you go into the local Centrelink office they will refer you. www.centrelink.gov.au
Centrelink has nothing to do with employment services.

Job networks are the people you need to contact, but in order to use their services, you need to be already unemployed, and have a job seeker number.
Yea Centrelink
