Travel Info Where/what would be a good place to take a teen nephew on holiday in NSW/? Travel Tips Take him to Coffs Harbour. There are heaps of thing to do. 1. White Water Rafting. 2. Scuba Diving 3. Fishing 4. Surfing 5. Walk though a Rain Forrest. 6. Go Kart racing 7. Abseiling 8. Four Wheel Driving 9. Bush Walking 10. 1 or 2 days at The Extreme Team. Others my favorites are the blue mountains - no matter how old you are - the cable car, steep vertical railway and bush walks are beautiful and really cool bondi beach is fun (but not in winter) he could do a surfing class you could go down to the snow fields if you like - he'd LOVE that! I took my daughter and 1 friend (it cost about $300) for 2 days. We stayed in a cheap motel in Cooma. We hired clothing and giant donuts - Perisher Blue is awesome, and is the Selwyn Snow fields for lots of giant donut sliding action (not many other shops or facilities there though) You could just go into Sydney - you know do the harbour bridge climb (about $100 - have to be over 12 yrs) that'd be awesome, go for a ride on a harley, or do luna park and movies and just check out sydney... Port Macquarie, and I live here. Great beaches, so much to do. And a beautiful climate. Let me know if you decide to visit and I will get a list of all the things you can do. Stay out of coastal NSW at the moment, terrible storms lashing the place. Blue Mountains are my favourite place. Personally I prefer Victoria, but NSW has some nice spots too. Port Stephens for dolphins watching and 4 wheel drive in Sand Dune. Pi Pi CATCHING IS ALSO FUN stuff. Try Fish and Chips there too. Lived in Sydney for 4 years |
