How long did it take by sea from Sydney, Australia to Perth, Australia in 1912?

Travel Tips
The average sailing period from Sydney to Perth was 2-3 weeks as they made port up the east coast stopping intially at brisbane and then again at Cairns, Darwin, Broome and finally Perth.
Keep in mind the reasons for the journey as they varied the sailing times. Most voyages took place for Government reasons such as mail, supplies for Government buildings, timber transport and finally passenger movement.
hope this helps
