Sydney or New Zealand?? Which would you choose to Live? And why? |
Travel Info Sydney or New Zealand?? Which would you choose to Live? And why? Travel Tips It's an odd sort of question. Sydney being a city, New Zealand being a country, so obviously that leaves a lot of room to move in the New Zealand area. The population of Sydney is 4,297,100, the Popluation of NZ is 4,177,000, so they're comparable in population, however Sydney squishes that into 12,144.6 sqKm, where as NZ is 268,680 km虏, so obviously the popopulation density is going to be less in NZ. However I would probably go NZ over Sydney. I'm from Tasmania, so NZ is more like the climate and geography I'm used to.Plus I don't think Sydney is as exciting or special as people from there try and make out it is. Plus it's the most expensive Australian city to live in. Others I would choose to live in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney for two years and even though it is a beautiful city, it is way to crowded/busy for me! Not sure where you're coming from to make the comparison to what you know. Sydney is a beautiful harbour city with a lot of activity centred around the harbout and beaches. It has a very diverse population with all that diversity brings with it in terms of culture, restaurants, colour, language and problems. Christchurch is a beautiful garden city at a different latitude to Sydney. It is closer to snow and mountains with related activities. It is a 'conservative city' with a more formal English heritage that is reflected in its architecture.and layout. Both are special for their own reasons and difficult to compare. However, if its sun and surf you're after, choose Sydney. If it's snow and alpine activities you prefer, choose Christchurch. |
