The state capitals are coastal, so almost never get snow, possible exception is Hobart. Brisbane and Sydney are subtropical, Darwin is tropical so it will be a cold day in hell when they have snow. Snowfields in the Snowy Mountains district are larger than Switzerland in a good snow season. Some snow predicted today for these and nearby mountains.
