Travel Info where are some good places to go in sydney, australia. not too expensive and not too far away from the city. Travel Tips Go to Taronga Zoo. The animals have the best view of Sydney. The short ferry ride from Circular Quay will give you a trip on the harbour. Also,you could take a ferry to Manly. It's too cold to swim at the beach but buy some fish and chips and stroll along the Corso. Stroll around the Rocks ( remnants of olden Sydney) various markets and shops, pubs to get good meal. Circular Quay always has buskers and entertainers. The Museum of Contemporary Art is also there and entrance is free. Take a lift up Sydney Tower in Pitt Street. The view will be great and a lot cheaper than a Sydney Harbour Bridge climb. At the other end of the city centre is Darling Harbour, It has great Aquarium where you walk underneath the sharks and stingrays. There's a lot to see. Just access one of the many websites. Define "not too expensive" There are plenty of places but we need more info. Tour our harbour by ferry,climb the harbour bridge,go to the zoo,swim at Bondi,go to Centrepoint tower,go to Darling harbour,Dixon st, China town,Kings Cross,Luna park,Manly, Take a ferry from Circular Quey to Manly and walk around. The Rocks and Cicular Quey are fab places to check out. Darling Harbor is so nice. You can take a boat ride to Star City Casino. See China town, take a bus from the city to the Eastern Suberbs. Bondi, Double Bay, Wasons Bay etc. Walk in Paddington, too many cute shops to look at. Hyde Park in the city, QVB (Queen Victoria Buliding) near the Town Hall. For night life try night clubs on Oxford Street, George St. Don't forget about the pubs for a game of pool and fosters. Manly is definitely a great place to go you have the beach, the corso (where the main surf brands stores are), there's plenty of restaurants. A great restuarant would be "blue water". |
