Check the following sites for more information http://www.wotif.com/ http://www.octopustravel.com/au/home.jsp... and http://www.yha.com.au/. Accommodation at $50 AUD will not be very nice. Anything decent would cost you at least 3 times that amount. If you contact Youth Hostels Association on www.yha.com.au (and you dont have to be young, I use them and I'm happy to be old), they will give you the current rates. I stayed at the one near Central train station, cheap if you are prepared to share a bunk-type room, but clean and well run. They have their own restaurant, internet cafe and are very close to the city. As ladymarmalade_00 said you can have a bed to sleep in at a youth hostel. But if you travel with 1 or 2 more people you can share a hotel room at a ** or *** hotel, because you always pay for one room - no matter how many people are in. There are mostly 2 beds in there anyway, sometimes 3. You may have a look on the internet such as www.sydney/accomodation.com or similar so you can find out. But I think a youth hostel is best. Good luck. I have a garage you could sleep in for a night. It even has a tap inside and I will provide a free bucket so you can clean your armpits and face in the morning. BYO sleeping bag. HOTEL FORMULE 1............will suit your requirement the best.... ask phone enquiry for their ph numbers....they r located at few places in sydney.... |
