Travel Tips The Maze backpackers is quite good - it is right in central Sydney a short walk from most places of interest. I stayed there a few years ago - everyone there seemed friendly and they do lots of fun things with guests. Here is the website http://www.mazebackpackers.com/... If you like to sleep at night then I suggest asking for a room as far away from the games room as possible. My room was right next to it and the noise from other guests kept me up until early morning most nights. I think it would have been fine if we were further away. The place is quite clean and comfortable. If you aren't used to traffic noise I suggest getting some ear plugs for sleeping at night, because the rooms can get quite hot and you'll need the window open but the traffic can be very noisy. There are sirens going a lot of the time. Anyway I hope you have a fantastic time, Sydney is great. I just came back from a holiday there a few days ago. Enjoy! It not as dangerous, though, as the same things would be in many other countries, so it depends what appeals to you. You can also choose from beach, suburb and almost rural hostels. |
