Where is the best place to snorkle in sydney? |
Travel Info if possible,,less than 50 kms from the suburbs... Travel Tips Bass and Flinders point off Cronulla. Watch out for the rays! Others Bondi and tamarama have very clear water but aren't that sheltered- try out by the airport near the refineries, I don't know the name, I just flew over the most beautiful beaches out that way on Sunday on my way to Auckland, very beautiful but isolated looking As a Pomm that has been to your lovely country I suggest Coogee Try Shelley Beach in Manly. Clovelly. Just outside of Sydney, try Toowoon Bay on the Central Coast (near The Entrance). Shelly beach in Manly is great, check out this picture http://ga.maps.yahoo.com/index.php#mvt=s... I've been there many times, water is clear and calm, and you'll see lots of fish. I've seen a lot of wobbegong sharks there too, don't worry though, wobbegongs sit on the bottom of the sea and never attack humans http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/wobbegong... http://chrisbevan.com/2004/02/shelly-bea... |
