Where can I hold a koala in or near sydney australia?

I will be flying into syndey and be there for a few days. I have always had a dream to hold a koala, where can I do this? It needs to be near sydney as I will not be able to travel far due to time constraints.

your first answer is right, take the ferry from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo, you can hold and have your pic taken with the koalas, shame youre not headed up to Port Macquarie we have the Koala Hospital which gives you a much more realistic time with wild koalas.

Children (3 - 15 yrs): $9.50
Children under 3 yrs: Free with a paying adult (Excludes group bookings).
Family Pass (2 adults and up to 4 children): $55.00
Additional Children : $5.00
Students: $15.00
Pensioners: $15.00
Seniors Card: $12.00

We're open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 5pm, every day of the year except Christmas Day.
