What are the job criteria's to entre Aussie? |

Hi, sorry but can't be specific on your qualifications. It is not as difficult now to gain entry to Australia as it was a few years ago. I suggest you contact Australia House and get information direct from the horses mouth. go to www.migrationexpert.com and you can do an online test to see if you score enough points to enter australia. I am sure you know the first thing you have to do is make sure you get approval to migrate. Australia has a Profession and other Skilled Migrants Program which is for people who are not sponsored by an employer and who have skills in particular occupations required in Australia. One of the skills listed in the Program is Child Care Coordinator. You could also check out the Employer's who sponsor employment. A good start would be to take a look at this site from the Department of Immigration - http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm... Check out www.immi.gov.au, and that lists jobs under demand in oz. But if you want to move to oz and work with children it may take even longer to get a work permit as they do in depth police checks with the police over here. Alternatively you can go to oz for 12 months on a working holiday visa really easily, plus if during that 12 month period you spend 3 months doing seasonal work (like fruit picking) you can then extend it by a further 12months. Again if on your working holiday visa application you state that you want to work with kids or in a hospital etc, it will also take longer than the average application of 4 weeks. So make sure you plan ahead and leave lots of time to get visas sorted. |
